About DegenMix

Gamified market predictions, a community leaderboard, and a hosted radio — built for fun.

This is not financial advice

DegenMix is an entertainment and social platform. Everything on it — user predictions (“picks”), points, streaks, badges, leaderboards, watchlists, and the radio commentary — is provided for fun and general informational purposes only.

Nothing on DegenMix is, or should be construed as, financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and no content creates an advisory relationship with you.

Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance and any user’s track record are not indicative of future results. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making any financial decision. You alone are responsible for your decisions.

What DegenMix is

DegenMix turns market opinions into a game with a scoreboard. You call a ticker — bull or bear — the call resolves against real market prices, and you win or lose points in front of everyone. No money changes hands; the only thing at stake is your spot on the leaderboard and your reputation.

Around the game: follow other callers, react and argue in the comments, browse picks by ticker, sharpen up in Training, and leave the radio on — themed stations whose hosts react to market activity and to what the community is calling.

How picks work

A pick is one call on one ticker: ▲ Bull or ▼ Bear, over a time horizon you choose. Your entry price is locked in at the moment you post; when the window closes, the pick is graded automatically against real prices and marked won or lost.

There are three kinds of call, from safest to spiciest:

  • Direction (1×) — the coin-flip classic. Bulls win if the price closes above your entry, bears if it closes below.
  • Target (2× points) — name an exact price. You win if the stock touches it at any point before the window closes.
  • Range (3× points) — call a price bracket. You only win if the stock stays inside it for the entire window. Hardest call, biggest multiplier.

One open pick per ticker per horizon, so you can’t spam both sides of the same coin. Posted something dumb? You get 60 seconds to undo — after that (or after anyone reacts), the call stands.

How points work

Every pick has points riding on it. Longer horizons pay more because more can go wrong; losses cost about half of what a win pays, so taking real swings beats sitting out.

Day traderesolves at the next 4pm ET close+5-3
Swing traderesolves 7 days after you post+20-10
Long termresolves 90 days after you post+50-25

Multipliers stack on top of the base points — wins and losses alike:

  • Target · 2× Range · 3× — precision pays, per the call types above.
  • ⚡ Conviction · 2× — once a week you can flag one pick as your conviction call and double its stakes. Use it on the call you’d defend at a dinner party.

So a weekly target call flagged as conviction pays +80 if it hits — and costs -40 if it doesn’t.

Two smaller ways to earn: each person who reacts to your pick is worth +1 (once per person, no matter how many emojis they stack), and each comment your pick draws is worth +2. Being interesting is a strategy.

If a pick expires exactly at its entry price, it’s a push: no points either way. The leaderboard ranks lifetime points, with weekly, monthly, and quarterly boards for the current season.

Streaks

Two streaks track your form, both shown on your profile:

  • ⚡ Pick streak — consecutive trading days with at least one pick. Weekends don’t count against you; skipping a market day resets it.
  • 🔥 Win streak — consecutive wins. One loss resets it; a push neither breaks nor extends it.

Your best-ever for both is remembered, and the milestone badges below are earned off your streaks automatically.

Badges

Badges are permanent achievements — once earned, they live in the trophy room on your profile for good, and you get a notification the moment one unlocks. Ring color is the rarity: steel is common, purple is rare, green is epic, gold is legendary. The 30 you can chase openly:
